Tex-Edit Plus is made to handle files of unlimited size, although slowdowns will become noticeable when files exceed 500-1000K, depending on your computer’s speed.

In unusual circumstances, it is possible to create a document that is so stylistically complex that the text styles will be lost when the document is saved.

Do not try to open an application file, especially if it is running.  Do not try to open a System file.  Do not try to insert a sound from an open application or System file.

When opening SimpleText read-only documents, Tex-Edit converts all of the original picture resources into real picture objects (which can be moved, copied, etc.).  As a result, the pictures will no longer be automatically centered on the page when viewed in Tex-Edit.
